Coming and Going?

This video is a NaVloPo reject....yea, a reject video during a month where we were posting a video a day....hard to believe isn't it? This video was going to be day 21 but I did this instead. At the time, there was just something "off" with this video and it just wasn't working for me. I always knew I would go back to it. Tonight I did, it's a part of my whole experimenting thing I do on and off. I hope you all enjoy.

Also for those who don't know, my new site is up. it's http://www.heathparks.com/ it's where I hope to get some paying gigs. Check it out, I think for a guy who has never done a site (at least not a blog site) I think it turned out pretty well. I did the design and everything, (well mostly the banner was from another template) but stil... ;)

Also for those who have Ipods, does the "Ipod" version work? I am using Sony Vegas 8 and they have an Ipod format and I just want to make sure it works, thanks

hey Heath, trippy vid, ggod music. How did you hack blogger to do the SIAB style overlay?

Couple of notes RE: the vid and site. Guessing you are on a PC (you use Vegas) so you probably never seen this, buton a Mac Flash SWFs always render over any DHTML elements. Your Flickr widget renders over the QT in Safari on the Mac...boooo to mac/flash/safari.

Also when exporting your final QT, make sure to check "FastStart Compressed Header" to enable progressive doownload. Otherwise your viewers have to sit looking at a blank screen while the entire movie downloads. No fun,

cheers, good work. Off to look at your site now.

I put in the new SIAB code on blogger and I use the "thickbox" option, so it does not break the css

hmm I do use fast start so I wonder what's going on with that...hmmm

thanks...

Beautiful flow, Heath. Very very nice. Watched it several times. Lovely interplay of transitions. And just shows you, never throw anything away!

Actually, I get the Flickr widget cutting and flickering into the movie, too. I'm on firefox/mac. It use to happen on my site, for some reason. I ended up dumping the widget in the end. Perhaps something to do with vPip and Thick Box?
